Our Approach
We use Appreciative Inquiry and Solution Focused techniques in our work which draws deeply on ideas and concepts rooted in Systemic and Social Constructionists theories and philosophies. This means that we have a particular interest in how people see the world. We want to know about their beliefs and values; their views about themselves in different relationships and, significantly, their ideas about having choices and making decisions in the process of bringing about change.

We value diversity in our practitioner and client groups and create opportunities in our work to explore issues and beliefs related to race, gender, class, religion, sexuality (dis)ability, age and positions of power and privilege. All our practitioners are qualified Family Therapists registered with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP). They are experienced in working with the difficult and complex dynamics found in relationships.
