Life has a way of presenting us with challenges we would rather not have to face. We can often feel stuck, unhappy or even hopeless.
Like Maya Angelou we believe
'If you don't like something, change it.
If you can't change it, change your attitude.'
Chiron specialises in helping people make these changes and supports them in finding the key to unlocking their potential.
- Training courses: One Year Accredited Certificate, plus short courses and workshops.
- Therapeutic services: as well as individual, couples and family therapy.
- Supporting children and their parents/guardians in Schools, Courts and Local Authorities.
- Professional Development - Clinical Supervision.
We are also celebrating Black History Month which takes place around the world in October every year. We will be extending our celebrations by featuring a new person's story every few months. Please click here to go directly to the Black History Month page.
Our Practice is informed by a systemic theoretical approach. This means we pay particular attention to the context in which people interact with each other. We believe this is important in exploring and getting an understanding of how particular behaviours are given their meaning and influence an individual's choice of action.
Systemic thinkers believe that looking at relationships in context create opportunities to explore issues of power and how these may be related to race, culture, religious beliefs, gender, class or other dynamics that can influence how we see the world and how we act in it.
